The OECC 2027 Post-deadline Paper Session is intended to provide an opportunity for authors to present the latest and most significant research results that were not available at the time of the regular paper submission deadline.
Post-deadline papers should report new, original, high-impact, and time-sensitive results in the fields covered by the OECC 2027 technical scope. Submissions that only present incremental progress or results that were available before the regular paper deadline may not be considered suitable for the post-deadline session.

Authors are requested to prepare:

• A 35-word abstract
• A paper manuscript using the official OECC 2027 template
• A PDF file compliant with the required conference format

The manuscript must be written in English and should clearly describe the novelty, technical significance, experimental or theoretical results, and impact of the work.
The manuscript length and format should follow the OECC 2027 submission template. Authors must not modify the template layout, margins, font size, line spacing, or other preset formatting styles.

Post-deadline papers should fit within one of the OECC 2027 technical sections:

• S1. Optical Active Devices and Modules
• S2. Optical Passive Devices and Modules
• S3. Optical Fibres, Cables and Fibre Devices
• S4. Access/Data Center/Core Networks and Subsystems
• S5. Transmission Systems and Subsystems
• S6. Quantum and Silicon Photonics

In conjunction with OECC 2027, post-deadline submissions related to Information Photonics 2027 (IP2027) may also be considered in the following areas:

• IP1. Information Acquisition
• IP2. Metaverse Photonics and Information Display
• IP3. Information Processing
• IP4. Optical Imaging and Metrology
• IP5. Optics in Experimental Mechanics
• IP6. AI for Photonics and Optical Imaging

All post-deadline papers must be submitted electronically through the official OECC 2027 paper submission system.

During submission, authors will be asked to provide:

• Paper title
• Author names and affiliations
• Corresponding author information
• 35-word abstract
• Technical section
• Keywords
• PDF manuscript file

Submissions by e-mail will not be accepted.

Authors must generate a properly formatted PDF file before submission. The PDF file should be compatible with the conference publication requirements.
Authors may be requested to use IEEE PDF eXpress to check or generate a compliant PDF file. The OECC 2027 IEEE PDF eXpress Conference ID will be announced on the conference website.
Please note that checking a PDF file through IEEE PDF eXpress and submitting the paper to OECC 2027 are separate procedures. After completing the PDF check, authors must return to the OECC 2027 submission system and complete the final submission.

At least one author of each accepted post-deadline paper must complete registration by the specified author registration deadline.
Accepted post-deadline papers without completed author registration may be removed from the final program and conference proceedings.

At least one registered author must present the accepted paper at the conference. Papers that are not presented at the conference may be excluded from the official proceedings and may not be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore or other indexing databases.
