Welcome Message for OECC 2027 and IP2027
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 32nd OptoElectronics and Communications Conference (OECC 2027), which will be held from July 4th to July 8th, 2027 at The Splendor Hotel Taichung, Taichung, Taiwan. OECC is one of the foremost international conferences held annually in the Asia-Pacific region for researchers and engineers working in the fields of optoelectronics, optical fiber transmission, and photonic network systems. It has been providing an excellent international forum to present and discuss the latest progress in research and development in these areas.
In addition, OECC 2027 will be held jointly with Information Photonics 2027 (IP2027). Information photonics is an interdisciplinary research and technology field that explores how advanced optics and photonics can be applied to the generation, acquisition, processing, transmission, storage, display, and utilization of information. IP2027 aims to bring together international scientists, researchers, engineers, industry professionals, and students to present recent achievements, exchange innovative ideas, and discuss future challenges and opportunities in a broad range of areas, including optical imaging, three-dimensional displays, holography, sensing, optical communications, photonic computing, artificial intelligence-enabled photonics, and other emerging information photonics technologies. We believe that this joint conference will provide an expanded international platform for interdisciplinary interaction and collaboration across the optoelectronics, communications, and information photonics communities.
On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to express our hearty welcome to all of you who are participating in OECC 2027 and IP2027. We sincerely hope that you will have a pleasant and memorable stay in Taichung, a vibrant city in central Taiwan known for its warm hospitality, rich culture, natural beauty, and diverse local cuisine. Participants will also have the option to join a post-conference cultural excursion to Lukang, offering an opportunity to experience the historical heritage and local culture of central Taiwan.
